"I understand you bank with Chase. But I want to clarify how this ecosystem actually works. Chase is an Issuing Bank. When it comes to merchant services, almost all local banks white-label or outsource their processing to backend networks like First Data or TSYS. 

When you use your bank for processing, you are simply adding a middleman to the equation. They take the true wholesale cost, add their margin, and pass it to you. My role as an independent agent is to cut out that local bank markup and plug you directly into the backend Acquirer on a transparent, wholesale Interchange-Plus model."
